As the founder and Medical Director of Pangenics Regenerative Center and pioneer in the preparation and use of stem cells in plastic surgery, Dr. Lewis J. Obi has developed a number of exclusive stem cell enhanced plastic surgery procedures for the face, breasts and body.
Dr. Obi is a native of Jacksonville who graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida after serving in the U. S. Marine Corps. He then graduated with honors; (AOA) from the University of Miami Medical School and completed his internship in the U. S. Navy.
After many years of residency training in general surgery, cardiovascular surgery, plastic surgery, maxillofacial surgery and hand surgery, he launched his private practice; Obi Plastic Surgery in Jacksonville marking another new beginning.
Dr. Obi has pioneered many unique laser techniques and exclusive plastic surgery procedures that are enhanced with the patient’s own mesenchymal stem cells. These include the use of lasers and stem cell procedures for non-invasive breast surgery and breast reconstruction, non-invasive facelift and fat transfer. These advancements have garnered Dr. Obi international recognition as a leading stem cell plastic surgeon. Breast augmentations are performed with scarless areolar incisions that result in significantly less visible scaring.
